Bandai Makes Solid New York Anime Festival notices
Bandai Makes Solid New York Anime Festival ads
Bandai service made a definite splash at the New York Anime Festival/Comic Con today - depending on what you have in mind. The panel covered a number of properties and in essence really only had one new license news, But they also provided important Gundam news for old school fans, Touching on K-Forward! In addition to a long requested Blu-Ray put out.
Bandai announced that they've finally, In conclusion, Acquired the Japanese language rights to the initial Mobile Suit Gundam series, Something that feels odd typing as often there is been another word after Gundam due to all the spinoff series. The show will launch in bilingual format in two Anime Legends parts in 2011 with the 42 episode series getting a proper release. Prior to now, The only edition usable was the dub-Only TV lets go of (Which never went to a full collection) Or the three compilation movies that many say is superior to the TV series.
Bandai also announced that they've managed to acquire the production of Gundam Unicorn on DVD, Though it's going to staggered from the Blu-Ray release which is getting a synchronised worldwide release as they come out. The DVD editions will feature two attacks per disc, Turning it into a three disc release, For $30 a dvd. No dates or glasses are yet set, Particularly as the second Gundam Unicorn OVA has yet to be removed.
Blowers of K-Concerned with! Will be delighted to know that it's going to be getting a Blu-Ray kick off, But buffs of K-of! As a general rule may be dismayed that it and the DVD release will be done over four volumes. It will launch in both standard and limited editions for each volume (29.98, 39.98 for the DVD with CD introduction as the LE, 34.98 and additionally 44.98 respectively regarding Blu-Ray designs with CD for the limited there). No tracks have yet been decided and the making is planned for the spring of 2011.
Bandai also touched on the Haruhi movie though only stating it would be released early in the year of 2011 and no specs are ready yet.
The panel also revealed the future awaited Blu-Ray announcement for the Girl Who Leapt over time, But declined for you to deliver specs or a date for it.
The new licensing announcement for the panel was the much expected Gundam 00 theatrical movie which is to be bilingual but nothing further has been decided yet.
They very wont say if K-On is a hybrid blu-beam, Or will we be stayed with english only, I learn how to, And the whole 4 disc release thing is not something useful, Kinda closer to japan releases, But still cheaper epecially if it is hybrid.
That is amongst the reaons I havent bought kurokami on blu-Ray is due to it being english only
Certainly hardly liked gundam, So any product gundam releated is a pass for me anyway,
But I hope they keep the main style of cases for K-using, And I hope the LE's will be advisable, I will just wait for an review, Then spend money on it or not
(In before hectotane makes typical "Bancoholding" Argument.)
Must agree, Calibur454. At Bandai, It's one leap forward, Two steps in reverse, And one step in poor direction (To put it differently, Group as usual).
You'd believe after releasing Haruhi Season 2 on DVD as a set that they would've learned their lesson, That american single women don't sell anymore. Incredibly in reality, Looks like they've learned very little, As they're liberating K-On exactly exactly the same they released Haruhi S.1 and grateful Star (Empathetic, Hardcore numismatists, But there's a reason why Right Stuf was selling off a massive supply of limited editions of all the Haruhi and much of the Lucky Star DVDs at deep discounts, And it certainly wasn't simply sold like hotcakes. mmm, Pancakes). If it didn't work many years ago, Much less two in years past, Odds are it won't work out like they decided. I expect the K-On Anime tales box set in late 2012 or 2013 (And also "Box allocate, Get real "Four discs shoehorned into a case intended for only one").
sure, I'm glad they're getting back From A Pm Who Proposed And Negotiated Fees For One Of The 21st Centuries Most Successful Architects Comes A Series Of Powerful Guides That Assist Architects Write And Negotiate Better Agreements.Architects’ Guide To Fees, Contracts And Negotiations together into the Blu-Ray game along together using "The Girl Who Leapt over time, But they're still miles behind the opposition in terms of Blu-Radiation (Terrible, Even Sentai Filmworks has/will have publicised more Blu-Ray series and movies towards the end of this year than Bandai will before the end of next year).
You'd think with a lighter release plan, They'd in point of fact buckle down and re-Release some of Bandai Visual's titles for less money. no, Quite we get Gundam Unicorn on DVD for $30 per two-Episode DVD model. Is not been learned from the whole Bandai Visual USA debacle? And within a worse is the "Haruhi-Chan/Nyoron Churuya-san" Little-Series is released as a two-Parter for $25 a disc when it should have been done as a single disc (Preferably within the Haruhi S.2 DVD decided).
I was really hoping that things would've changed for the better by the end of the season. Sorry to say, Ken Iyadomi, Robert Napton and Loy Fruel are a little more forward out-Related with-Sync with general anime fandom than Milli Vanilli and their vocal range (Look it, Young adults)
